CREATIVITY MATTERS

We have created a fun and inspiring environment for clients to engage in creative activities that teach the benefit of using art to promote a healthy mind set.

Creative activities encourage Emotional Regulation by blending mindful art, a calm environment, and gentle guidance.

Susan uses a wide variety of mediums to connect with each person:  Water colour and acrylic painting, mixed media collage, jewellery making, polymer and air clay sculpture, leather work, stitching and sewing, drawing and mindful neurographic art.  If a client has a particular creative style they would like to explore, Susan is happy to create a program to meet their individual needs.

Creative Activities are available in an individual or small group setting and are a great way to promote social skills, develop flexible thinking and problem-solving skills while in a safe environment.  Creative Activities can be helpful for mindfulness, relaxation and general well-being.

Sessions are available for adults and children over 10 years old.

For Carers:

Susan offers specialized small group sessions for Carers. The compassionate environment of a small 'carers only' group will allow us to speak freely, share ideas and solutions while creating art that soothes the soul.  Using a variety of mediums, we will learn to be gentle on ourselves while learning, playing and immersing in creativity.  Maximum group size:  4

The Details:

Sessions for adults are typically planned for two hours.
